Hazel’s passion for performance and her ability to draw out the most surprising talents from teams, make her exceptional at identifying the right teambuilding solution for each client. She practices what she preaches by running each new event with the biz team, ensuring we are always delivering from experience!

Bev is the General Manger of the biz-group and oversees biz-events (along side biz-ability and biz-strategy at the same time – she is a great juggler!). Hailing originally from South Africa, Bev has spent many years in Dubai and was with Avis prior to joining biz-events. Everyone loves working with Bev and her energy and dedication is an inspiration to the team. She is also very enthusiastic about everything and is good at getting large groups of people to dance.

Andy joined biz-events from the UK in 2008 and brings a wealth of event management and team building experience to the team, having worked closely with the UK arm of the business, Catalyst Global, for a number of years. His organisational talents mean that he runs a tight ship and always likes to know that clients and delegates are getting the most out of the experience without having to worry about the details. Andy enjoys the opportunity that being in the biz family provides, i.e. to work with many people from diverse backgrounds and cultures and in different countries across the world.

Sheilvy’s keen eye for details and artistic skills enable her to support biz-events in its logistical needs.

She helps ensure the events run smoothly with Clients and Event Managers wearing happy faces.

Adam is English but spent his university years in Australia and most of his life living in the Middle East and Bali. He joined biz-events at the beginning of 2011 and rose to the challenge of learning our huge portfolio of events during our busiest period. Adam has plenty of energy which he puts to good use running events efficiently. In his spare time he tries to play golf and has a liking for colourful wigs.

Nicole has a strong background in managing conference and incentive groups and has developed her career between Australasia and the Middle East. She has a history of working with large groups and giving public presentations. For the past 5 years Nicole has been with biz-events in a Lead Facilitator and Event Manager role. Nicole is a New Zealander who combines humour with energy, though is able to work with serious business messages when required.

Karen comes from a graphic design and marketing background in Canada and holds a bachelors degree in Communication Design. Since moving to Dubai in 2002 has added event management to her repertoire and with experience in the management of major events in Dubai over the past 8 years, she is well equipped to deal with any obstacle thrown in her path. Her enthusiasm and attention to detail will make your event worry-free and one to remember!

Nancy is from Canada and is one of our most regular and longest serving facilitators, who also turns her hand to running some events as well. There are many team building programs on offer from biz-events and she has run all of them at some point or another, mostly several times over. Nancy is a lesson in quiet efficiency, going about her events with the attitude that makes her a fantastic asset to the team, that of knowing there is always something more that can be done to improve things. She also bakes lovely cakes.

Laura is one of our event managers who has been working with biz-events for a couple of years. Unlike the rest of the team Laura can actually sing and play the drums so she can lead the ‘One Voice’ energizer and ‘Beats Work’ events as well as running events. Laura is very enthusiastic and always keen to help, to the extent that she keeps the team supplied with fresh lettuce from her vegetable garden when they are in season.

Matthew is one of the newest members of the biz-group team, having spent the past 7 years working in a high paced sales environment. The last three of those were spent working in 3^rd party sales developing key relationships with other agencies around the world. Matthew’s lifelong passion for outdoor pursuits ranging from rock climbing to surfing and biz’s high energy team building event’s have made an ideal match and an easy transition.

Barbara is a natural performer who loves being on stage so is perfectly suited to leading our events. She injects a lot of fun into proceedings and is guaranteed to make the delegates have a great time. Barbara’s background as an accomplished trainer adds a great deal to the experience for the people at her events and she is always ready to offer expert advice and help where needed. Barbara is always entertaining at biz-events parties and loves fancy dress.

Noel has many years of working with the biz-group and recently returned to the fold in 2011 having spent a year or two on other projects. He is most welcome back as he has a lot of experience of our team building programs and is very good at leading groups through some of the more complicated events with his excellent communication style. He is always smiling and has an infectious laugh which makes any team building event he runs an enjoyable occasion. Like most of the men in the biz-events team, Noel is a keen football fan who still takes to the field as a player as well.

Luke delivers fun and enthusiasm every time, he has been facilitating the full range of biz-events since the beginning, and can deliver in Arabic whenever you need it. All those funny names in Arabian Market were his idea…

Nicky’s creativity and passion for excellence guide her interactive and engaging delivery style. Her natural ability to unlock people’s potential combined with her island vibes and energy create a unique and enjoyable experience every time.

Linda is a high performance team coach who’s passion for mobilizing untapped team capacity ensures that magic is created and team performance enhanced. Working with leadership teams in the areas of team dynamics, strategy alignment and execution, she helps companies get on track and stay on track in fast moving environments. With a focus on tying energizing team building events to corporate objectives Linda ensures that desired behaviors are identified and tied back into the workplace.

Nigel believes strongly that involvement of all participants is gained by ensuring eveyone has fun in the activity, is then debriefed to link the learning to their role in the organisation, and can then see how this links to their contribution of success for all.

Ruby is one of the key members of the logistics team who has been with the company since 2010. She helps co-ordinate all the equipment necessary for us to run all the events and her attention to detail is second to none. Ruby is a keen fan of ball sports, particularly volleyball and basketball, so she enjoys our outdoor events the most. She also smiles a lot.

Anthony has a solid warehouse experience of no less than ten years. He is no doubt the best person to look after the biz-events stock and inventory process making sure everyone gets what they need for every event.

Sandy is the man who makes all our technical wizadry work. Originally from the Philippines, Sandy knows everything there is to know about computers, cameras, websites and iPhones. He provides invaluable support to anything technical on our events and spends most of his spare time playing basketball.

Sunil is the ‘old man’ of biz-events as he has been here right from the beginning several years ago. Sunil has seen it all when it comes to our team building programs and he has probably visited  every hotel in the country to work on our events. Sunil is responsible for making sure the equipment is packed, delivered, set up and taken away at the end, a crucial part of our operation. When not working, Sunil day dreams about owning a duck farm back home in Sri Lanka.

Wasim is the newest member of the logistics team at biz-events, having joined in 2011. Originally from India, he has been working in the UAE for a number of years and is an accomplished driver who is our man in the van. Wasim says he once had a very boring job repacking light bulbs so he much prefers the variety and physical side of his job and has the muscles to prove it.
