You Bet You Can captures You Tube mania and positions it in a flexible teambuilding context that can be tailored to specific themes.
You Tube documents a vast array of whacky ideas plus some amazing evidence of what can be achieved when individuals work together as one! How often do we browse their site and think, WOW! “I’d would love to get my work colleagues together and try that for real” but somehow never got round to it...Until now!
In creating the framework for You Bet You Can we’ve scoured You Tube for inspiring challenges that can only be achieved through coordinated teamwork. Each clip has been meticulously documented and categorized into our own user-friendly e-platform, seamlessly guiding teams through the rules of engagement.
Teams partake in as many challenges as they can. Risk versus reward is integral to the game; teams view the category clips and asses the highlighted success criteria to establish a ‘viability factor’.
Ultimately teams have to gel together quickly, focus their energy and manage their resources effectively. All too often this activity unearths the hidden talent among colleagues and adds to the fun of You Bet You Can!
Add a ‘bolt on extra to this activity’ where the points accumulated by teams are matched with cash donations from your company. Here’s how it works: • Teams are rewarded with star icons according to their performance in each challenge. • All teams total their stars at end of the competition; a winning team is recognised and applauded. • A spokesperson for the company announces that all stars earned during the competition will be matched on a cash ratio e.g. 1 star = $1 • Several Perspex ‘post boxes’ are provided, representing 2 or 3 charities your company has chosen to support. • Teams divide their stars evenly between individuals in their team. • All participants are invited to post their stars according to the charities they personally wish to support.

"We had a great time, not only did we learn a lot about us as a team but also did each one learn their shortfalls. Despite the cold weather we did have a great time. The guys were great, they even helped me with a production line getting gift boxes packed for our function for the Monday night. "
