Teams are provided with limited resources of cardboard, plastic, tape and cutting tools and the all important design blueprints.
Their challenge is to build a seaworthy vessel – initially perceived as an impossible mission.
Teams quickly realise that with co-ordination, commitment and energy, they can succeed, ending in a hilarious competitive race to the finish line.
In the Kon-Tiki Challenge cross-functional collaboration, decision making, resource allocation and innovation will all come into play.
An impossible task will quickly become very possible (and lots of fun) as the power of the team and a well co-ordinated effort takes over to make the project a reality.
An analogy can be drawn to the work place where everyone has a rewarding role to play in keeping the team afloat; whether they want to build, design, decorate or crew the vessel, each team member has a valuable contribution to make.
I just wanted to say what a brilliant day we all had. Thank you so much and to Brian and the rest of your team for facilitating a great event. The staff really enjoyed it and I feel we achieved our team working objective.
I look forward to doing another event with biz-events in the future
