“Rev up your teams for the fast lane with Formula 1 Challenge!”

Teams are provided with an unusual set of equipment including sheets of cardboard, cardboard rolls, a wooden chassis, tape, tie-wraps, cutting tools and the all-important blueprints.

Their challenge is to build a Formula One racing car that will win the Grand Prix!

This seemingly impossible challenge requires commitment, resource allocation and quality control. A dynamic and daring race, with pit-stop team challenges conclude this unbelievable event.

An analogy can be drawn to the work place where everyone has a rewarding role to play; whether they want to build, design, decorate or crew the car, each team member has a valuable contribution to make.

As part of Catalyst's commitment to our own CSR policy, one of our global partners recently donated this activity to a school. Not only did the children receive the educational benefits of this dynamic challenge, they also raised a large sum of money for charity. Prior to the actual event the each of the competing teams were tasked with raising actual corporate sponsorship for their F1 constructions.
