Teams literally create front-page news with a teambuilding challenge that goes beyond the headlines and gets to the real story of your corporate or conference messages.
This fun, fast-paced and energetic teambuilding challenge takes your team out of their comfort zone and drops them into the world of newspaper publishing.
Like a professional news team they identify the big stories and then follow cryptic tip-offs to find vital information and leads. The team’s reporters also have to hit the streets, to track down subjects to be interviewed and capture the all-important award-winning photograph, based on a set of supplied criteria.
But the teams do much more than just get the scoop. They name their newspapers, complete a number of articles, create a cartoon, design an advertisement and even write a ‘business forecast’ in a bid to complete a published newspaper for all to see.
This exercise often asks people to project news into the future. It presents a useful vehicle to explore elements of your own CSR statement: predicting ‘tomorrows news’ provides a great sounding board for participants to explore their impact on the environment and what steps can be taken to maintain a committed CSR policy.

"It was a massive success and everyone had a really memorable and fun time.. the activity within itself had so many elements of fun, from products to costumes and judges, amongst others, that at some point poeple forgot about the gifts and were engaged because they were just having so much fun in preparing for the advertisement."
