Biz-events is always looking for more team building ideas and new events and we have had the opportunity to run a brand new energizer activity for the first time in Dubai, ‘Blow the Blues Away’.

The biz-events team has expanded yet again as we welcome on board Matthew Wilkins as a Business Development Manager, responsible for what we call our ‘Third Party’ sales. “What is a Third Party sale?” I hear you ask. This is a term we use to describe when we sell an event through a hotel sales team, event company or Destination Management Company (DMC) to the end client, hence creating a third party in the relationship.

11^th October 2010: biz-events a division of biz-group, the Middle East's largest corporate team building company, has awarded its first regional franchise contract to Creative Careers Consultancy in Doha, Qatar. The agreement marks the launch of the first specialist team building company in the country and follows increasing domestic demand for HR support services.

We recently facilitated 'Rags to Riches" for World Event Management's annual conference. Their 'green goal' was to ensure their whole conference was BS8901 compliant including the team-build!

Catalyst Global partner (Asia Ability) rocked the Singapore Formula One night race with two Beatswork performances for the F1 crowds. It was a "public" event in that the 80 participants were rounded up right there and then from the thousands of F1 fans.

Catalyst gave support to the Samaritans at their second national awareness day entitled Stress Down Day. Catalyst was asked if they would like to make a contribution by providing a fun, group activity, which would involve a fairly large number of people with the ethos of the day in mind.
