Matthew Wilkins Joins biz-events; team performance

The biz-events team has expanded yet again as we welcome on board Matthew Wilkins as a Business Development Manager, responsible for what we call our ‘Third Party’ sales. “What is a Third Party sale?” I hear you ask. This is a term we use to describe when we sell an event through a hotel sales team, event company or Destination Management Company (DMC) to the end client, hence creating a third party in the relationship.
Matt has experience of working with third parties from his previous role in the property sector and he brings lots of fresh ideas and enthusiasm to develop the relationships biz-events currently has with these companies, as well as seek out new ones. We believe that the conference, meeting and incentive market is looking up in Dubai, which makes this a great time for Matt to be joining the team. He also brings a third dimension to the soccer rivalries in the office – we had Chelsea and Manchester United fans in our midst but now we have a Spurs fan to make it even more interesting!
